Banks supported

Here are the banks covered by Acquired in the UK and the payment types supported for each. Pay by Bank currently supports personal bank accounts only; business bank accounts are not yet available.

Recurring payments are split by VRP type, as coverage differs: Sweeping VRP (moving funds between a customer's own accounts) is broadly available, while Commercial VRP (cVRP) depends on each bank's participation in the UK Payments Initiative (UKPI).

Note: cVRP availability depends on each bank's participation in the UK Payments Initiative (UKPI). Coverage is expanding as more banks join the scheme. Contact us for details on coverage for your specific use case.

The table above is maintained by hand. To fetch current coverage from the API:

• Get a list of supported banks returns the banks Acquired supports, including names, logos and supported services — use this if you are building your own bank selection UI.
• List supported banks returns the banks available for Open Banking and variable recurring payment journeys.
