Collections

Overview

Once a mandate enters an active state, you gain the ability to process Direct Debit payments against it and collect payments from your customers.

Every time you wish to collect a Direct Debit payment from your customer, you are required to submit an API request to the payments/collections endpoint.

Currently, Acquired does not send advanced notifications to customers regarding Direct Debit collections. It is your responsibility to handle this process independently in accordance with BACS requirements.
